§ 10.9.3. Procedure and conditions of approval for interim parking

Interim parking as defined in section 10.9.1 may be permitted in any zoning district for a period not to exceed six months only after a special exception permit is granted by the planning commission. The six month period may be extended by the planning commission upon showing proof that such an extension is necessary. An application for a special exception permit shall be submitted to the planning and community renewal division along with the appropriate fee. The planning commission shall review requests for interim parking areas with regard to location, accessibility, impact on adjacent properties, external traffic flow, and streets.
