§ 16.2.3. Comprehensive review of ordinance

  • The planning commission in accordance with its jurisdiction as provided by section 4 of Act No. 207, of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, and Ordinance No. 881 of the City of Pontiac, adopted March 5, 1935, and as amended by Ordinance No. 1060 adopted June, 1946, being the agency initially designated to prepare and recommend a zoning ordinance shall from time to time, at intervals of not more than three years, examine all of the provisions of this appendix and the location of district boundary lines and shall submit a report to the city council recommending changes and amendments, if any, which are deemed to be desirable in the interest of public health, safety and general welfare.
